Bohemian Ratsody by Freddie Meowcury
Opera Felinia

(opening scene: an alley in a small neighborhood)
a cat :

Is this a cat's life?
Or is this fantasy?
Saved from an alley
No escape there had seemed to be.
Open your eyes,
While I tell you my story
I was a stray cat.
I needed sympathy.

Well, things were easy come, easy go,
never had a steady home.
Any way the mouse goes
that was all that mattered to me, you see.

a housecat (in a nearby home):
Mama, just killed a mouse
grabbed him by the head
knocked him 'round and now he's dead.

Mama, fun had just begun
But now I've gone and whacked it all away

Mama, oo oo oo oo, didn't mean to make him die,
But I'm sure if I wait until tomorrow
there'll be more, there'll be more,
'cause they're living in the rafters.

It's late, dinner time has come
Had tuna in my bowl, body's aching 'cause I'm full
Goodbye everybody I've got to go
Gotta leave and meet that stray behind the porch.

Mama, oo oo oo food, I'd love to take him some
I sometimes wish that I could bring it all

(guitar solo)

(in the alley behind the porch):
a housecat: I see a little silhouetto by that man.
stray cat:
Scare-a-mouse! Scare-a-mouse!
Let us have a fun dance now!
housecat: Jumping and the pouncing, very very 'rousing me!

stray cat:
Meow Meow, Meow Me-oh !
housecat: Meow Meow, Meow Me-oh !
stray cat:Meow, Ohh!  He got away.

The mouse: "Magnifico!"

stray cat: I'm just an alley cat nobody loves me
the neighbors: He's just an alley cat doesn't have a family
Bob Barker: "Spay 'em or Neuter to avoid this tragedy."

housecat: Easy come, easy go
Through this little door

kids: "Please Ma-ma, Oh! A stray cat through the door!"
mom: "Let him go!"

kids: "No Ma-ma No! He really needs a home"
mom: "Let him go!"

kids: "Please Ma! I know we do have room for more!"
mom: "Let him go!"

kids: "Isn't he so cute!"
mom: "Let him go!"

kids: "Think I'll call him Bruce!"
mom: "Let him go!"

kids: "Let's give a bit of food"
mom: "No! No!  No! No!  NO! NO! NO!"

kids: "Oh mama mia, mama mia, mama please ma, let's keep him.
This little cat has just come inside for me, for me...
Oh pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?!"

(heavy guitar enters)

"Bruce" (formerly "stray cat"):
Now I live in a stone house with some some girl and guy.
Now I feel comfortable and not worried I'll die!
Oh, baby! Yes, all this for me, baby!
Not gonna run out, not gonna get right outta here!

All the cats: Living in the rafters, Any cat can see,
Living in the rafters...
Nothing really matters to me...

...Anyway the mouse goes    (purr)
